When you need to couple, connect, fasten, or ground conduit or cables, RACO® fittings are your best answer.
Choose from specification grade malleable iron, steel, lightweight aluminum, or economical die cast zinc materials. Many are UL Listed as rain-tight, concrete-tight, or liquidtight.
Fittings should be installed by licensed electricians in compliance with national and local electrical codes.
Where applicable, RACO® products are engineered in accordance with the standards established by Underwriters’ Laboratories (UL). Most products are listed by UL and also certified by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). Dimensional data listed in this catalog is intended for general reference with broad tolerance limits. RACO® fittings generally conform to Federal Specifications and Standards A-A-50552, A-A-50553, A-A-50563,FF-S-760A(2), NEMA FB1-1998, U.L. 467, U.L. 514B, and CSA Standard C22.2 #18. Note: ANSI Standard C80-4 has been cancelled and replaced by NEMA FB-1.

RACO® liquidtight conduit and cord connectors listed on pages B50-B66 are approved for use in hazardous locations by the National Electrical Code. Applications and the Code reference include:
- Class 1, Div. 2 where volatile liquids are handled or stored (501-4b)
- Class 2, Div. 1 where combustible dust is in the air (502-4a2)
- Class 2, Div. 2 where dust deposits may accumulate (502-4b2)
- Class 3, Div. 1 where easily ignitable fibers are manufactured or used (503-3a2)
- Class 3, Div. 2 where easily ignitable fibers are handled or stored (503-3b)
The Code does not permit liquidtight connectors for Class 1, Div. 1, locations where volatile liquids and flammable gases are likely to be in the air.
